For Barbara Berg Jurgensen,
a super friend, with loving memories
Dear Barb,
My memories start with my meeting you when your family moved to Clinton from western Iowa; you enrolled at Clinton High School and became a member of the "CHS Class of 1943". It was a "good move" for you, as you met classmate Bob Jurgensen and it was a romance that turned into a marriage of 52 years!
Little did we think then of class reunions beyond 5 or 10 years - when our country was in World War II - that you and I would be co-chairing our Class of '43 reunions in our "senior years"! What fun we had as Three Little Maids, including Lillian; our Aloha reunion; and the 50th reunion. You were our treasurer for the reunions, and your secretarial skills came in handy!
Barb, I miss the friendship we built over many years at our Sunday brunches at the Frontier. We even planned 2 of our class reunions at Sunday brunch! I loved hearing about your daughters and family members; your trip to Oklahoma; the large vehicle you all rode in to go to Krista's wedding in Pittsburgh; and going for breakfast with Sue & Dick and other friends.
Memories of our times together are priceless!
Love, Elaine
