I know what it is like to watch a parent fade away and how it tugs at your heart. If they could only remain as we remember them so vibrant and full of life, hard working, fun loving, honest farm folk then we would pray for them to stay. When the body is worn out and the mind fails, we know it is time for them to go and live in eternal peace with our Lord. Be thankful for all the good years. Our sympathies are with you all. It is a great loss in your lives.
To the Luett family, I am so sorry for your loss. Although I didn't know or met Arlene, I am sure she was a great person who gave everyone lots of memories. Tammi, I am so sorry. Times like this aren't the easiest, but please know that you are thought of, and hope that you find comfort soon with all the memories that come to you. Hope you are doing okay.
Larry, I'll always remember your mom's great sense of humor. So often a friend's parents can be a little intimidating, but your mom always made me smile.
You can be sure, today she knows our Lord's Peace.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Arlene. When I was growing up in Hauntown, Arlene and Gilbert were neighbors to my parents. I always remember her smile and great sense of humor.She was a great neighbor and friend to my parents. I was saddened to read of your mother's passing. I remember her well and all the fun times we had at your house, Pam. May you be comforted by warm memories. When a mother dies, there is a void in the heart that can never be filled. Take care.
I wish to express to the children of Arlene my deepest condolances for the loss of your mother. I have many fond memories of her while being around your house and while we were going to school together. It is always difficult to lose a parent.
