Ardelle Goettsch's Obituary
Ardelle H. Goettsch, 84, of Clinton, died Sunday at Mercy Living Center, North. Memorial Services will be 11:00am, Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Ardelle Harriet Ward was born on December 10, 1925 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Albert and Elsi (Diesing) Ward. She married Delbert Goettsch on May 8, 1952. She was a loving, caring, giving individual besides a domestic engineer, an excellent seamstress, had an eclectic taste for music and an awesome cook. She is survived by her husband: Delbert of Clinton; two sons: Marty (Carrie) Goettsch of LaFayette, New York, and Lauren Goettsch of Coal Valley, Illinois; one daughter: Elizabeth Ann (Dennis) Merigian of Grand Rapids, Michigan; 6 grandchildren: Rachel, Abigail, and Carla Goettsch, Amanda (Alan) Reer, and Derek Goettsch, and Seth Allen Merigian; two great-grandchildren: Justin and Zachary Reer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Memorials can be made to American Heart Association or the Clinton Humane Society.
