I grew up next door to the Goettsch family and I always thought Ardelle was a sweet and wonderful lady. She was a great mother and always made me feel welcome in her home when I came over. I am very sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
To the family of Ardelle you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of knowing Ardelle and Delbert from a small restraunt in Miles Iowa named "Ma's Place." They came in one day and I knew that I had met two of the nicest people ever! They would bring me berries,squash,tomato's etc. I had to find the time no matter how busy to chat with them, they enlightened my day each time they stopped in.
Ardelle has walked hundreds of miles and now she is at rest. She always remembered every birthday and always took time to send a note of thanks. Her family was her life and she was very proud of her kids and loved her grandchildren with all her heart. Soft spoken with a devilish sense of fun, when her kids were young, she was the neighbor who would pack the kids together for a day at the beach. She is our sister and we will miss her terribly. She was kind, never judgmental, never confrontational--I think another angel is about to get her wings. We will see her again. Love Aunt Marilyn & Uncle Bob
