William A. Weber's Obituary
Services for William A. Weber, 92, of East Moline, Illinois, will be 11:00am, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the Clinton AMVETS. Visitation will be from 9:30am to the service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
William Abram Weber was born on October 7, 1931 in Camanche, the son of William H. and Margaret E. (Keller) Weber. He served in the United States Army during Korean Conflict. He was decorated with the Korean Service Medal, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his service to our country.
Bill was employed at ALCOA in the box shop from 1949 until his retirement in 1993. He was active with the Korean War Veterans Association in Moline. He was avid Iowa Hawkeye, Green Bay Packer, and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He will be remembered for his one-liners and witty since of humor. He loved spending time with his family.
Bill is survived by his children; Joseph (Shirley) Weber of Lewisville, Texas, Gregory (Sally) Weber of Allyn, Washington, and Randy (Candyce) Weber of Cambridge, Illinois; nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and step-great grandson. He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, step-daughter, grandson, great-grandson, two sisters, and a brother.
