William Tigh's Obituary
William H. Tigh, 61, of Clinton died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory assisted the family with the arrangements. William Henry Tigh was born on December 13, 1949 in Clinton, the son of Charles and Anna (Stuit) Tigh. He was a 1969 Clinton High School graduate. He married Mary Baker in 1971 in Clinton and they later divorced. William was a diesel mechanic and was previously employed with Tom McManus Excavating in Camanche and also with Blue Bird Transfer and Storage. He is survived by one son, William (Billie Miceli) Tigh of Clinton; two granddaughters, Lindsay (Josh Cook) Tigh of Maquoketa and Kit Miceli of Clinton; two great grandchildren, Donovan James Cook and Renee Cook of Maquoketa, and his caretaker Mary Baker of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
