William Wesley Roseland's Obituary
William Wesley Roseland, 64, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. Services for William will be held 11:00AM Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Catholic Church of the Visitation, Camanche. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in the Elvira Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family. William was born September 26, 1958 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Earl and Mona “Jean” (Lilly) Roseland. He was a graduate of Northeast High School. William had been employed with Chicago and Northwestern Railroad and at Carlon.
He was very handy, was a craftsman enjoying wire sculpture and was a small engine mechanic. William loved all of his family, music and his wonderful friends.
William is survived by his siblings, Michael Earl (Sara) Roseland of Little Hocking, OH; James (Theresa) Roseland of Clinton; Mary Leslie (David) Rittierodt of Montgomery, Texas; Margie (Don) Nance of Clinton; Bonnie (Leonard) Kalina-Quick of Clinton; Kathy Roseland of Clinton; Julie (Don) Connell of Camanche and Angie (George) Burke of Milton, Wisconsin; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews., including his nephew Benny Roseland who has been missing for 15 years.
William was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, David Nance.
