William Donald “Koop” Wynkoop, 63, of Clinton, Iowa, died Thursday, September 5, 2019, at his home. Visitation will be held from 3PM to 6PM Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made by visiting snellzornig.com.
Koop was born January 29, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Herbert Dean and Ruby May (Kinkaid) Wynkoop. He was a Clinton High School graduate. He retired from Dairy Pak/Evergreen after 40 years of employment.
Koop enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include his daughters, Katie Lobdell of Oak Creek, WI and Jamie Ann Frye of Grandview, MO; grandchildren, Natalie, Nolan, Brady, Sean Jr. and MaKenzie, siblings, Deana (Gerry) LaShelle of Clinton, IA; Kathy Hilgendorf of Fulton, IL; Sue (Rich “Hermie”) Herrmann of Clinton, IA; Richard Wynkoop of Clinton, IA; David (Sue) Wynkoop of Clinton, IA and Marcia (Gene) Giellis of Manchester, IA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronald Wynkoop and niece, Renee Wynkoop.
