William R. Eversoll's Obituary
William R. Eversoll, 72, of Clinton, passed away, Friday, July 15, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics – Iowa City, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory, with a service to conclude the visitation at 7:00pm. William Russell Eversoll was born on January 6, 1950 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Roy and Iola (Parker) Eversoll. He was a 1968 graduate of Clinton High School. He married Genevieve “Ginny” Archer on January 26, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bill worked in maintenance at the Skyline Center for several years retiring in 2015.
Bill enjoyed playing golf, shooting pool & was an avid Hawkeye, Cubs & Bears fan. He also loved watching John Wayne & old classic movies, playing cards but most importantly spending time with all his family, friends & his dogs.
Bill is survived by his wife: Ginny of Clinton; his children: Rodney (Cathy) Eversoll of Clinton, Shelly Eversoll of Clinton, John (Michelle) Eversoll of Clinton, and Travis Eversoll of Clinton; six grandchildren: Ethan, Ashliegh, Trenton, Gracie, Morgan, and Allie; five great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Donna (Joe) Schipper of Mesa, Arizona, John Hamstra of Texas, and Chuck (Judy) Hamstra of Albany, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Roy Eversoll and Rich Hamstra.
