William Broadrick's Obituary
William Broadrick, 83, of Clinton, passed away, Friday, December 27, 2013 at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center – Clinton.
A Committal Service and military honors will be conducted at 10:30am, Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Following the visitation his body will be cremated. William Broadrick was born on October 21, 1930 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Martin and Josephine (Waldorf) Broadrick. He attended St. Mary’s Schools.
William served in the United States Army during Korea from October 1951 – September 1953. He married Margaret “Peggy” Hansen on October 15, 1955 in Clinton.
William was employed with the Curtis Company and Clinton Corn/ADM.
William was a member of the American Federation of Grain Millers
William is survived by his wife: Peggy of Clinton; one son: Martin Broadrick of Spencer, Iowa; two sisters: Bernadette Roberts of Clinton, and Jeanne Ries of Clinton; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers.
Memorials can be made to the Holden Cancer Center at the University of Iowa or Genesis Hospice.
