Wesley "Butch" Schwartz Jr.'s Obituary
Wesley “Butch” W. Schwartz, Jr, 74, of Bryant, Iowa, passed away, Saturday, May 2, 2026 at his home.

Wesley Walter Schwartz, Jr., was born on August 23, 1951 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Wesley and Emma (Jacobson) Sr. He was a 1969 graduate of Fulton High School. He would later serve in the United States Army from 1971-1973. He married Jolene Murray on May 14, 1977 in Clinton.
Wes worked as a mechanic at ALCOA for 32 years, retiring in 2011, and also enjoyed farming the family’s Heritage Farm. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, gardening, and raising all manner of animals. He also enjoyed an occasional Kesslers and Pepsi.
Wes is survived by his wife: Jolene of Bryant; two sons: Brian (Christine) Schwartz of Johnston, Iowa, and Patrick (Allys) Schwartz of Bryant; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and his sister: Dr. Sandra Schwartz of Evansville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son: Robert.
