Our deepest sympathy to you all. We visited with Uncle Wayne shortly after his 90th birthday while in Arizona. He was as spry as ever. May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with him be many of the blessings the Lord gives to us.

To All of Wayne's Family & Loved Ones, . .we're so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. Wayne was a very kind, gentle, caring, intriguing soul to say the least. He touched all of our hearts and we've been so blessed to have known him, spent a little time with him, had dinner cooked by him, fished along side of him, had him to our home to spend time with our family when the boys were younger. We wish there could have been more of those memories for us with Wayne. He was one heck of a good man! He will never be forgotten. His reward awaits him in Heaven. God bless his soul and all of his loved ones.
With deepest sympathy,
Angel, Jim, Wyatt, Kyle Schiffer

We have know Wayne only a few years since wintering at LaHa, but he was a very loving man and friendly person. Enjoyed playing cards with him and seeing him on his daily walks. Our deepest sympathies to his family.
To Wayne's four daughters:
After the passing of my father Kenneth Papke, Wayne was a wonderful addition to our immediate and extended family. He was the only grandfather figure our children knew. It was a privilege to have known such a smart, kind and thoughtful gentleman and we will always have great love and respect honoring his memory. We also have immense gratitude for the care and support he extended to our beloved mother and grandmother Betty.
May he rest in peace,
Diane and David Cole

We are sorry for your loss....no one is ever ready to say good-bye. We know he was such an important part of your lives, we know that he is still with you, just on the other side of the veil.

Cindy and family, You have our deepest sympathy. So sorry to hear about your Dad.
I am truly sorry for your loss. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family.
I remember a bunch of us girls spending the night…..staying up all night..…and having Wayne wake us up early as he went out to feed the cattle with a big grin on his face as we struggled to wake up. And I will always be grateful for the advice he gave me on showing a calf in 4-H. Spending time at the Mommsen house was always fun. My prayers are with you. Cindy Kuster (Bumpass, VA)
