Wayne Lind was a main guy in Clinton/Lyons. He will be greatly missed by your wonderful family and all of us. He did so much to further the quality of life here in Clinton. Be proud of your great family and we send to you our deepest sympathies. Remember all the great sports days. He lived the fine life.
Condolences to Pat & Wayne's children. Pat was my cousin. She and Wayne and my husband and me used to run around together. We went up to Wisconsin to visit Wayne's
family once. We had some good times. I was one of Pat's bridesmaids when they married. Wayne was a great guy and will be missed. Mary (Shrake) Hall, Temple, Tx.
Our condolences to the Lind family. So sorry for your loss. God bless!

I'm so sorry for your loss! I had two times meeting him in person, once when he came when I had a fire in my kitchen and the other was up in Grand Rapids Minnesota. My mother was in a coma at the Grand Rapids Hospital and to help me through it while I was there with my dad, I waitressed at the Moose Hall. I was serving steaks to a bunch of fishermen and when I put his plate in front of him and he looked up and we both recognized each other as being from Clinton. It was amazing! I was feeling lonesome for my kids and my home and talking with him really helped! He did a great service for the city of Clinton and I for one am very grateful for having met him. Our sympathies to the entire Lind family, so sorry for your loss. Chris and Christy Rixen

I send my Solemn Greetings from the deep south of Louisiana to Wayne's family and friends. I first met him through the fire department, and always enjoyed visiting with him and his friendly spirit and gentleman ways. During recent years when I returned to Clinton each June, I bumped into Wayne when I stopped over at Manny's in Fulton, and we got caught up on old times. Godspeed My Brother Firefighter!!!
To all of the family~So sorry to hear this. He always made me smile and was always such a good "dad" to all the kids in the neighborhood.
Our condolences and deepest sympathy to the family, our thoughts and prayers will be with you.
