Warren J. Suehl's Obituary
Warren J. Suehl of Clinton passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Eagle Point Health Care Center in Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, June 3, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clinton. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Johnson, Bill Rogis, Matt Wright, Brad Holesinger, Bob Holesinger and John Carstensen. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Kelly, Gary Mulholland, Debra Johnson and Barb Decker. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service time at the church. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is handling the arrangements.
Warren John Suehl was born in Clinton, Iowa, the son of John and Magdalene (Olsen) Suehl. He was a graduate of Lyons High School. He farmed his entire life on the family farm in rural Clinton.
He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clinton, served on the Hampshire board of trustees, was a member of the Church Choir, and an honorary member of the Andover Fire Department. He enjoyed performing on the Showboat and other events.
Warren is survived by his Dog Annie and many longtime friends including Robert Holesinger, Debra Johnson, Barb Decker and Phyllis Crippen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Helmut and Marvin Suehl.
Memorials may be made to the church.
