Walter Brown's Obituary
Walter Louie Brown, 61, of Clinton and formerly of Texas, died Friday, August 7, 2009 at his home in Clinton, IA. Visitation will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, August 10, 2009 from Noon to 2 PM. There will be no services.
Walter was born on September 4, 1947 in Amarillo, TX, the son Louie and Opal (Beatty) Brown. He married Judith Finch Brown November 3, 2008 in Clinton.
Walter was employed as an oil worker on ocean oilrigs all over the globe for more than 28 years; he retired in the early 90?s. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife, Judith of Clinton, children, Bruce (Rebecca) Brown, Julie Brown and Leonard Brown all of Clinton, 12 grandchildren and two brothers in Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
