Volodymyr Lyashenko's Obituary
Volodymyr Lyashenko, 75 of Camanche, passed away, Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Clarrisa C. Cook Hospice House – Bettendorf, Iowa.
Services will be 11:00am, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church – East Moline, Illinois. Burial will be in the Spring Lake Cemetery – Savanna. Visitation and prayer service will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Volodymyr Layshenko was born on September 29, 1945 in Ukraine, the son of Iliia and Yevdokiia Lyashenko. He married Lyudmyla Shpyryova in 1979.
Volodymyr was an electrical engineer in Ukraine.
Volodymyr was a great person, wonderful father, and fun grandpa. He was a clever handyman and a hard worker overall. Volodymyr was kind to others and would always aid others in trouble. He was happy and proud to become a USA citizen as well as to live in the Mid-West area.
Volodymyr is survived by his wife: Lyudmyla of Camanche; two daughters: Natasha (Andrey) Krutko of Ukraine and Lyudmyla (Brad Niles) Lyashenko of Camanche; four grandchildren; two sisters: Nadezhda and Maria of Ukraine. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
