Vada M. Baker's Obituary
Vada M. Baker, 91, of Clinton, died peacefully at home on Sunday, April 19, 2015.
A Funeral Mass will be 11:00am, Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Calvary Hill Cemetery – Fulton. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30am to the mass time at the church. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Vada Marie Eads was born on October 10, 1923 the daughter of Floyd and Edna (Anglese) Eads. She married Corneil Baker on November 16, 1940 in Clinton; he died October 8, 1994.
She worked along side and supported Corneil in the Baker Brothers Ice & Coal Co, in Fulton for over 20 years, and Baker Auto Salvage in Fulton for over 30 years. She was a supporter of the Clinton Eagles Club and was a member of Prince of Peace Parish.
Survivors include her son: Gary (Donna) Baker of Morrison, three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband.
