Tony Hansen's Obituary
Tony Arthur Hansen, 55, of Melbourne, Florida died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Brevard Hospice Care Center at Gustav Medical Center in Rockledge, Florida. Services will be held at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 11:00PAM to 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Tony was born September 4, 1953 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Marjorie Jane Hansen and the late Alvin F. Hansen. He was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Camanche. Tony loved life. He and his buddies formed a band and played in the family garage as well as at the Camanche High School. He loved ice skating, fishing, boating and working at the Home Depot in Melbourne, Florida. He suffered from systemic lupus most of his life.
Tony graduated from Camanche High School in 1971. He was a union welder.
He married Brenda Hart they had a son, Trinity Alvin Hansen. He later married Dana Card they had a daughter, Kelly Lynn Lette. Tony moved to Florida where he worked for Home Depot for 10 years and earned his associates degree in Melbourne, Florida. In 1982 Tony and his present wife, Lore Beth made a trip home for Christmas to be married at the United Methodist Church in Morrison, Illinois, by the Rev. Lynn Longer.
He is survived by his wife, Lore Beth of Melbourne; son, Trinity Hansen of Clinton; daughter, Kelly Lette of Palm Bay, Florida; two step-grandchildren, Nicole Courtney Edson and Angelena Trinity and his mother, Marjorie Hansen of Camanche. His father preceded him in death in 1993. Memorials may be made to the family.
