In 1980 I was hired on at Kurtz Glass by Tom's father Harmon. Over the next 21 years that I was an employee, and I also felt as part of the family. Rick Kurtz was even in our wedding in 1984. I most certainly miss Harmon and Lucy and now I will miss Tom even though I lost touch over the years. I even got to watch his wonderful children grow up. I will always feel to be a part of the Kurtz Glass family. Tom will be certainly missed by many.
I have known Tom for a long time. We graduated from CHS in 1966 together. I enjoyed our visits at class reunions. It was fun to run into him when I was home visiting. It was usually in the CCC parking lot. He took the time to visit with my dad, Gail Mauck, when he would make a delivery to his home. Dad enjoyed talking to Tom.
After retirement, our dads had coffee and played golf together. Harm would tell Dad how much he appreciated Tom’s help and how proud he was of him. My thoughts are with you all. Cherish your wonderful memories!

I'll always remember Tom Kurtz as a very sweet young man!
My last interaction with Tom was about a year ago when he was bragging about his son Elliot. Visibly proud and with a big smile on his face he caught me up with his sons accomplishments. Im glad to know you're doing well and so sad to hear of Tom's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Take care.
