Tim Trettin's Obituary
Tim Trettin, 67, of Camanche passed away, Monday, April 29, 2024 at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus, Davenport.
Memorial Services will be 3:00pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to the service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Timothy Ernest Trettin was born on November 24, 1956 in Wausau, Wisconsin the son of Charles and Betty (Fitzke) Trettin. He was a 1975 graduate of Clinton High School. He married Teresa Pawlik on October 20, 2001 in Clinton.
Tim was employed at International Paper in Clinton for over 30 years. He later went to work for Alcoa/Arconic retiring in July 2022.
Tim was an avid Iowa Hawkeye, St. Louis Cardinal and Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed traveling with his wife all over the country especially to Wisconsin, attending Octoberfest in LaCrosse and visiting his sister in California. He enjoyed spending time on the river, bowling, camping, especially hanging around and tending to the campfire.
Tim is survived by his wife: Teresa of Camanche; a son: Daniel (Cara) Vosatka of Welton; a granddaughter: Rachel; a great-grandson: Jackson; his sister: Kitty Trettin of Half Moon Bay, California; two-sister in laws: Christina (Moease Knox) Pawlik of Camanche and Amy (Nick) Smith of Clinton; one brother-in-law: Brian (Sharon) Pawlik of Clinton, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother: David.
