Terry Lehmkuhl's Obituary
Terry H. Lehmkuhl, 72, of Clinton died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at his home. There will be no public services. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements. Terry Henry Lehmkuhl was born August 19, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Rudolph Henry and Irene (Steenfatt) Lehmkuhl. He married Jaqueline Sue Davis on March 15, 1960 in Florida. He attended Clinton High School and then served in the United States Air Force from 1956 – 1960. After serving in the military he came back to Clinton and worked for Collis Company for 31 years retiring in 2000. When he retired he was a prototype maker. Terry was the former president of the AMVETS in Clinton and was a member of the Eagles Club. He is survived by his wife: Jackie; three children: Terry D. Lehmkuhl; Kim Lehmkuhl; and Matthew Lehmkuhl. Matthew and Kim are living at home and helping their mom. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and one sister: Sarah Greenwalt of Clinton. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Memorial may be made to the family.
