Terrie A. Woods' Obituary
Terrie A. Woods, 60, of Clinton passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Mercy One Medical Center – Clinton.
Celebration of Life memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Salvation Army – Clinton. Her urn will be buried in the Rock Island National Cemetery at a later date.
Terrie Ann Nance was born October 15, 1958 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Robinson) Nance. She married Michael Woods on September 1, 1978 in Clinton, Iowa.
She was a resourceful woman with many words of wisdom. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, going to casino, cooking, playing cards especially Skipbo with her mom. Mostly she loved time spent with her family and friends. She loved her children and grandchildren so much; she would always call them to make sure that they were doing well and always ended a phone call with “love you, bye”.
Terrie will be greatly missed by her husband Michael Woods of Clinton; three daughters: Amy (John) Guy of Clinton, Bridgette Woods of Clinton and Xavia (Christopher) Seesser of Fulton; nine grandchildren: Cassie, Brionna, Ceonna, Brooke, Xander, Logan, Curtis, Willow and Ella; three great grandchildren: Addison, Lillyanna and Nevaeh; siblings: Duane Plum, Carolyn Nance, Matt Nance and Jeremy Plum.
She was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers.
Memorial may be made to the family.
