Terrel L. Bowen, 75, of Albany passed away Monday, September 25, 2023 at MercyOne Medical Center - Clinton.

Terrel Lee Bown was born March 5, 1948 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Glenn and Luella (Dieterle) Bowen. He was a Fulton High School graduate and then graduated from St. Ambrose University. He married Beth Wiersema on December 30, 1972 in Albany, Illinois; they had celebrated 50 years of marriage when Beth passed away on June 14, 2023.
Terry worked as a Diesel Mechanic for many years and then more recently he worked for ADM until he retired. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and watching the Chicago Cubs. He loved to spend time with his family but mostly he loved watching his grandchildren compete in sports.
He is survived by his two children: Tara (Dave) Read of Fulton and Brad (Elise) Bowen of Fulton; four grandchildren: Ava, Brady, Jessa and Anson; brother: Mitch (Vickie) Bowen of of Overland Park, Kansas; sister-in-law: Barb Bowen of Topeka, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one brother: Bill Bowen.
