Teresa Louise Rasmussen's Obituary
Teresa Louise (Shaw) Rasmussen, 68, went to be with the lord on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Alverno. A celebration of life for Teresa will be held from 4 to 7PM, Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. She was born on December 4, 1948 in Clinton Iowa and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Barbara Shaw.
Teresa graduated from Camanche High School before marrying her husband of 51 years Marvin A. Rasmussen on November 4, 1966. Teresa and Marvin had three
children before she began her career as a barber. She was the proud owner of The Hairworks Barber Shop from 1976 to 2008. Teresa was a devoted Christian and longtime member of The Church of The Open Door.
Teresa is survived by her husband Marvin, her children Yvonne (Paul) Maze of Miles, Iowa; Eric (Andrea) Rasmussen of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Neal Rasmussen of Clinton, Iowa, three brothers, four sisters, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved grandson Keegan.
