Teresa Nelson, 88, of Clinton passed away Sunday, October 5th, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Teresa Toledo Jaramillo Nelson was born June 8, 1937 in Morelia, Mexico, daughter of Gabriel and Herminia (Toledo) Jaramillo. She was an amazing mother of 6 and a devout catholic. She was a homemaker and a talented seamstress who enjoyed making beautiful dresses in her spare time. Her other hobbies included crafts, cooking but most of all to go shopping at stores such as Hobby Lobby, Fashion Bug and Goodwill. She enjoyed watching her Spanish soap operas with a nice cup of coffee and a sweet treat. But most of all, she cherished spending time and playing board games with her loved ones.
Teresa is survived by her six children: Chela Diaz of Clinton, Adolfo (Ma Guadalupe) Diaz of Verona, Wisconsin, Alex Diaz of Clinton, Teresa (Karl) Diaz-Franzen of Clinton, Nora Jaramillo of Clinton and Mario (Alicia) Jaramillo of Clinton; eleven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Genesis Clarissa C. Cook Hospice for their attentive care and compassion.
