Sylvester Kuberski,'s Obituary
CAMANCHE, Iowa — Sylvester C. Kuberski, Jr., 70, of Camanche, passed away, April 26, 2012 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House – Bettendorf, Iowa. There will be no services or visitation the body has been cremated. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Sylvester Cedric Kuberski, Jr, was born on August 4, 1941 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Sylvester and Goldie (Glor) Kuberski. He was a 1960 graduate of Moulton Udell High School. Sylvester was a security guard with CF Industries for 19 years.
Sylvester was a music enthusiast. He played the fiddle, the organ, and accordion. He enjoyed traveling around and playing at various music festivals. He also enjoyed running. Survivors include a sister: Janice Kuberski-Nelms, O’Fallon, Mo.; 6 brothers John, Patoka, Ill., David, Huntsville, Ala., Ronald, Camanche, Larry, Davenport, Garry, Orlando, Fla., and Stanley, Cambridge, Ill.;
Sylvester was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials can be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
