Sydney "Ted" Tubbs' Obituary
Ted Tubbs, 83, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, January 12, 2025 at his home.
There will be no services or visitation; Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes is honored to assist the Tubbs family.
Sydney Theodore Tubbs was born on September 26, 1941 in Maquoketa, Iowa, the son of Winfield and Freda (Taylor) Tubbs. He was a graduate of Clinton High School. He married Jaclyne Jane Peterson in 1979; she died April 8, 2022.
Ted was employed with International Paper as a press operator. He enjoyed camping, bowling, watching sports and spending time with family and friends, especially his friend Brenda.
Ted is survived by his children: Teresa (David) Waldorf of Lakeville, Minnesota, Tedd Tubbs of Clinton; Kevin Tubbs of Columbia, South Carolina; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother: Donn Tubbs of Montrose, Iowa, sister: Rebecca Tubbs Lichter of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers.
