How sad that this wonderful, talented, sweet person is no longer with us. Known her since Grade School at Roosevelt School in Clinton,Iowa. Always smiling, and willing to help with whatever! Talent that wouldn't stop, and willing to share . The Class of '64 and all of her friends will miss her so much. Remember the good times, and the sweet smile.

Susan and I were the only two in Mr. Zabilka's class that wrote a song which was an assignment from him. I was in awe listening to Susies when she played hers and was too bashful to play mine, so he played it for me instead. We enjoyed last year IM'g on FB our favorite musicals, orchestra's, oldies, etc. Kinda got off key during the holidays and then heard of her becoming an angel a couple of weeks ago thru other classmates and my
heart was merely broken for several days. God be with all of her family members.

Susan taught my children to play piano. Such a kind, caring, patient, wonderful woman, I am so sorry. My condolences to her family.
I came back to Iowa for Marge's birthday party a few years ago. Susie was there, playing the piano as Ellen Miller and I sang along. Suddenly I was in Mr. Zabilka's Washington Junior High chorus again and the cutest girl I'd ever seen was playing the piano for us.
How fortunate we were to have known Susie. There was no one like her.
