Steven W. Kupfer's Obituary
Steven W. Kupfer, 64, of Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the First Baptist Church – Clinton. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dan Howard, Todd Cutting, Dan Runyon, Dave Wynkoop, LeRoy Boyd, and Jim McLuckie. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the church. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Steven Wayne Kupfer was born on December 7, 1960 in Savanna, Illinois, the son of Charles and Marylin (Humphrey) Kupfer. He married Carol Gauss on August 22, 1981 in Clinton.
Steve was employed with ADM for over 40 years, retiring in 2022 as a supervisor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). He enjoyed traveling, especially in his camper and taking cruises. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends having game nights and watching his beloved San Francisco 49ers.
Steve is survived by his wife: Carol of Clinton; three sons: Joseph (Nicole) Kupfer of Clinton, Kevin Kupfer of Clinton, and Thomas (Shaina Tucker) Kupfer of Mt Carroll, Illinois; three grandchildren: Elijah, Cash, and Isabelle; his siblings: Larry Kupfer of Kansas City, Missouri, Raymond Kupfer of Clinton, Russell Kupfer of Low Moor, Joyce (LeRoy) Boyd of Loboville, Tennessee, Susan (Dave) Wynkoop of Clinton, Linda Kustes of Clinton, and David Kupfer of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister-in-law: Debbie.
Memorials can be made to ALS Association or the First Baptist Church.
