Stanley “Chuck” Sirvid, Jr., 67, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home in Clinton.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 am, Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-4:00pm at the funeral home.
Stanley Charles Sirvid, Jr. was born on March 9, 1951 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Stanley and Eleanor “Becky” (Watson) Sirvid. He was a 1969 graduate of Clinton High School. He married Susan Witt on January 25, 1975 in Clinton. He was employed at Rock-Tenn for 36 years, retiring in 2016.
Chuck was an avid golfer. He won the Clinton Herald Metro Golf Tournament in 1971. He also liked spending time with his family, riding his bike, and swimming.
Chuck is survived by his wife: Susan of Clinton; two daughters: Kathy (Scott) Parker of Cedar Rapids, and Sandy (Nathan) Twedt of Kouts, Indiana; 5 grandchildren: Jenna, Sydney, Alyssa, Kennedy, and Benjamin; his two sisters: Nancy (Steve) Bromley of Clinton, and Linda (Tom) Newbanks of Marion, Iowa; his mother-in-law: Mary Witt of Clinton; his brother-in-law: James (Andrea) Witt; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and father-in-law: Charles E. Witt.
