Shirley Louise DeMarr's Obituary
Shirley L. DeMarr, 76 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospital.
Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is handling arrangements and a Celebration of Life service arrangements are pending.
Shirley was born September 26, 1944 in Richland Center, Wisconsin, the daughter of Robert R. and Erma L. (Fuller) Shepherd. She married Alex DeMarr on June 17, 1963 in Hayward, Wisconsin.
Shirley had been employed at the Alverno as a CNA and CMA for several years. She was a member of Daybreak Wesleyan Church and former member of Grace Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Survivors include her husband, Alex of Clinton; children, Laura J. (Michael) Finn of Clinton; Daniel J. (Kristi) DeMarr of Davenport; and Darren J. DeMarr of Clinton; grandchildren, Nathan and Ryan Finn and Sierra and Devon DeMarr; siblings, Bob Shepherd of Clinton; Jerri (Bob) Weber of Camanche; Joyce Shepherd of Corbin, KY; Jim Shepherd of Delmar, IA; Gladys (Rick) Radcliff of Mauston, WI; Ralene (David) Ludvigsen of Andover and David (Pam) Shepherd of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Leroy Shepherd, Cliff Shepherd, Cathy Andres and Richard DeMarr.
