Sheryl A. Edmunds, 75, of Clinton, passed away, Friday, August 5, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics – Iowa City, Iowa. Memorial Services will be held later this month at Immanuel Lutheran Church – Clinton. Buri Read Obituary
I am so sorry for your loss. Sheryl was my cousin, but I always thought of her more as an aunt. When we got to spend time with her when we were little, we could count on it to be a fun time! She was always so upbeat and had a laugh I'll never forget. She took me to my first movie ever at the theater, took me to see Santa, and I have countless other memories like her love of the Peanuts Gang (I still have the deck of Snoopy cards she got for me one time!), bears, her love of Elvis, and she had the coolest Lava Lamp that sat on the TV in the living room! Sheryl you will be missed. It will be a sad ground hog's day come this February.
Sheryl and I were colleagues at Prophetstown Elementary. We shared much laughter as we went about the work of teaching children. One Halloween several of us dressed as the dancing raisins for the school parade through town. The laughter in the workroom as we got into our costumes will always be a special memory. You could count on Sheryl to be ready for some fun. I am very sorry for your loss.
