Sherry Thompson's Obituary
Sherry M. Thompson, 41, of Clinton died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at home. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00am until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Wright, Ken Wright, Collin Calsyn, Nick Wright, Eric Geronzin and Rick Thompson. Sherry Marie Wright was born on August 7, 1969 in Clinton, the daughter of Kenneth Gene and Sharon (Anderson) Wright. She was a Clinton High School graduate. She married Jim Thompson on April 2, 1998 in Clinton. Sherry was a homemaker and was also employed at DM Services. She loved her family, especially her daughters. She is survived by her husband Jim of Clinton; two daughters: Britani and Nicole at home; one sister: Deb (Collin) Calsyn of Albany, IL, and two brothers: Ken (Kris) Wright of Cedar Rapids and Kevin (Kris) Wright of Camanche and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, mother in law and grandparents. Memorials may be made to the Family or Mercy Hospice.
