Sherry Lynn Hayden-Ellithorpe's Obituary
Sherry Lynn Hayden-Ellithorpe, 64, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away January 4, 2024 at her home after a battle with Pancreatic cancer. Per Sherry’s wishes, there will be no services. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with cremation.
Sherry was born on May 26, 1959 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Herman Hayden and Wilma Garien. Sherry was an avid Stephen King reader, a wicked card player, an animal lover, a fierce mother and a loving wife.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Ellithorpe; her son, Billy (Caitlin) Hayden; her brother William “Joe” (Lynne) Hayden; her uncle, Billy (Karen) Garien; her niece, Yasamin (Christopher) George; her nephews, Parshaun (Charlissa) Mehri, and Peiman (Teah) Mehri; her step children, Jenni (Trevor Guilliams) Ellithorpe, Ronald (Mindy) Cherek, and Erica Hensel; her brother-in-law, Parvis “Paul” Mehri; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one grand-niece and two grand-nephews.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and her sister.
