Sherrill Hope's Obituary
Sherrill Lea Hope, 58, of Camanche, IA died Friday, September 18, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Clinton Chapel. Cremation will follow the services. Private burial of the cremains will take place at a later date in Springdale Cemetery. Sherrill Lea Heath was born on May 31, 1951, in Clinton, the daughter of Vernon and Audrey (Hute) Heath. She was a graduate of Clinton High School. She married Payton Joseph Hope on November 6, 1998 in Clinton. She had been previously employed with Pathways Living Center in Clinton for 14 years. She loved to play bingo, crochet, cross-stitch, and do word search puzzles. She is survived by her husband Payton J. Hope of Camanche; one son, Daniel (Amanda Broers) Morris of Morrison, IL; one daughter, Tina (Terry) Cahoon of Clinton; 7 grandchildren, Skylar, Audrey, Danielle, and Madysen Morris, Brianna and Bailey Broers, and Jessica Cahoon; 2 brothers, Bob Heath of DeWitt, IA and Jim (Lorraine) Heath of Seattle, WA; 3 sisters, Gloria (Gary) Ballard of Clinton, Carla Petersen of Clinton, and Linda (Ron) Haggen of DeWitt, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bill Heath, and sister Carol Goddard. Memorials may be made to the family.
