Sharon J. Keegan's Obituary
Sharon J. Keegan, 81, of Clinton passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Bickford Cottage - Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark, Scott and Dean Keegan and Trent, Blake and Jared Josten. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Sharon Jane White was born July 18, 1942 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Warren Marcus and Cora Belle (Marlowe) White. She was a 1959 graduate of Clinton High School and earned a 2 year degree from Scott Community College in Computer Science. She worked at Medical Associates for 8 years as a receptionist and then worked for Clinton County as an IT Director for 26 ½ years; retiring in 2005.
She enjoyed visiting the farm in Decatur, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She volunteered her time at RSVP in Clinton, YWCA and the Red Cross for more than 10 years.
Sharon is survived by her three sons: Mark (Shelly) Keegan of Goose Lake, Iowa, Scott (Sue) Keegan of Goose Lake, Iowa and Dean Keegan of Clinton; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and long-time companion for almost 40 years Howard Buoy of Decatur, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Sandy Josten.
