Sharon M. Geronzin's Obituary
Sharon M. Geronzin, 74, of Clinton passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at her home.
Memorial Services will be 4:00 pm, Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the service time at the funeral home. Sharon Marie Crimmins was born January 13, 1951 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Mary (Marshall) Crimmins. She was a 1969 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Clinton. She married Robert “Bob” Geronzin in 1969; he preceded her in death in 2003. She worked for Fulton Corp for many years and then delivered meals to people that couldn’t get out for Park Towers. She enjoyed riding horses and camping when she was younger. She loved shopping, going to grandkids sporting events and will be remembered for her watching horror movies but more than anything she loved spending time with her family.
Sharon is survived by her three daughters: Tina (Jay) Camp of Charlotte, Tracy Lamp of Clinton and Tonya (Louis) Harris of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren: Sean (Jenna) Jones of Clinton, Lee (Jennifer) Jones of Clinton, Leisha (Jeremy) Graves of Des Moines, Kelsea (Tristen) Daniels of Clinton, Madison (Micah Reed) Geronzin of Cedar Rapids, Louis Harris IV of Davenport, William Lamp of CLinton and Wyatt Lamp of Charlotte; nine great grandchildren; siblings: Jim (Angie) Crimmins of Clinton, Karen Goebel of Clinton, Deb (Doug) Jones of Clinton, Gary (Marcia) Crimmins and Marc Crimmins both of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Wayne Crimmins.
