Sandra Sterbenz's Obituary
Sandra Sterbenz, 69, of Low Moor died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be from 2-6:00pm Sunday at the Camanche Chapel and Monday from 9:30am until the service hour. Burial will be in the Elvira Cemetery. Sandra Ann Hudson was born on August 24, 1941 in Clinton, the daughter of Fay and Ada (Roesger) Hudson. She was a 1959 DeWitt High School graduate. Sandra was a homemaker. She was a member of the Low Moor Methodist Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, loved to bowl and was an avid bingo player. She is survived by four children: Susan (Jeff) Ketelsen of Cedar Rapids, John (Tina) Sterbenz of Low Moor, Molly (Jay Stone) Cleppe of Low Moor and Becky (Jake) Boeding of Low Moor; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; one brother: Lawrence (Shirley) Hudson of Arizona and one sister: Maxine (Bruce) Anderson of DeWitt. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Donna Reher.
