Sandra Hier's Obituary
Sandra L. Hier, 57, of Lowden, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 at her home. Funeral Services will be 12:00pm, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time at the funeral home on Thursday. Sandra Lynn Cramer was born on April 9, 1952 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of LeRoy and Elaine (Sebald) Cramer. She married David Hier on September 19, 1992 in Davenport, Iowa. Sandy was a graduate of Clinton High School. She was a homemaker. Sandy enjoyed riding and taking care of her horses. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association. She also enjoyed antiquing and attending flea markets.
Sandy is survived by her husband: David of Lowden; one daughter: Heather (Mike) Godwin of Lee Summit, Missouri, two grandchildren; her parents: LeRoy and Elaine Cramer of Clinton; two sisters: Linda (Bill) Balk of Thomson, Illinois, and Robin (J.P.) Crouch of Grenada, Mississippi; one brother: Scott (Carolyn) Cramer of Fulton, Illinois, and nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her grandparents. The family requests memorials be made to the family.
