Sandra Clark's Obituary
Sandra J. Clark, 73, of Clinton, passed away, Monday, November 14, 2022 at her home.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00am, Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Catholic Church of the Visitation – Camanche. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnathan Sheppard, Ryan Goynes, Ricky Goynes, Nate Fuller, Mike Martin, Isaac Kershner,and Zeik Neymer. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Sheppard, Chase Goynes, Jesse Goynes, Dante Scott, Elijah Ahler, and Olyver Fuller. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-7:00pm at the church. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Sandra Jean Goynes was born on October 13, 1949 in Orange, Texas, the daughter of Raymond and Carolyn (Henry) Goynes. She married Dennis Wesley Clark II on June 19, 1970 in Camanche; he died February 27, 2008.
Sandra was homemaker and also a welder at GE in Morrison. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Visitation. She enjoyed birdwatching, camping, fishing, taking road trips, and spending time with her family.
Sandra is survived by her daughters: Alicia Clark of Clinton, Denise Sheppard of Clinton, and Elisabeth Clark of Clinton; three grandchildren: Robbie and Johnathan Sheppard and Olivia Clark; her siblings: Paul (Paula) Goynes of Grapevine, Texas, Phil (Jan) Goynes of Pearland, Texas, Timothy Goynes of San Francisco, California, and Pam Loiacano of La Belle, Texas; brother-in-law: Jeff Mussman of Camanche, sister-in-law: Marya Goynes of Clinton, and brother-in-law: Joe Clark of Clinton. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: Rick Goynes and a sister: Tina (Goynes) Mussman.
