Samuel L. White, 79, of Clinton passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at MercyOne - Clinton.
Graveside Services will be 2:30 pm, Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Clinton Lawn Cemetery - Clinton. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is honored to serve his family.
Samuel Laverne White was born July 6, 1946 in Iowa, the son of Samuel and Clara White. He was a Clinton High School graduate. He married Julie Hayton on August 15, 1997. He worked at Caterpillar and Carlon and most recently retired from the Recycling Plant in 2003.
Sam enjoyed going for long walks at Eagle Point Park with his wife Julie. He enjoyed being outside in nature, sitting on the front porch and listening to music.
Sam is survived by his wife Julie White of Clinton, his children: Jim (Dawn) White of Camanche and Craig (Amy) White of Camanche, Bill Hullinger, Jr. of Cedar Rapids, Shawn (Ardessa) Hullinger of Cedar Rapids and Wendy (Chris) Robbins of Clinton; grandchildren: Chase, Carley, Cody, Jaslyn, Kaleb, Tristan, Dalton, Zoey and Mercedez; great grandchild: Preston; and sister-in-laws Debbie (Max) Covell of Fulton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
