Sally J. Remrey, 66, of Clinton passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at her home.

Sally Jean Everson was born November 6, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Matthiesen) Everson. She was a 1975 graduate of Clinton High School. She worked for Knollers grocery store later known as Sullivans for many years in the bakery. She also worked at Custom Pak in Clinton and that is where she met her husband Daniel Remrey; they were married for 35 years when he passed away in 2013.
Sally loved to watch the Chicago Cubs and her great nephew Max play baseball. She was a natural homemaker and enjoyed baking and making people feel comfortable in her home. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and animals. She will always be remembered for her laughter and her quick witted humor.
She is survived by her son: Charlie Remrey of Clinton; two stepdaughters: Kristina (Ron) White of Prophetsown and Debra Andersen of Fulton; three step grandchildren: Kristin and Kenneth Ramig and Sarah Andersen; one step great grandson: Asher Ramig; siblings: Sue Everson of Clinton, David (Sue) Everson of Clinton and Steve (Lois) Everson of Missouri; and three favorite nieces: Cara, Erin, and Marisa. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
