Sally Jo Hansen's Obituary
Sally Jo Hansen, age 85 of Kerrville, TX passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at home with family.
Sally Jo Wilson was born on October 4, 1939, in Clinton, the daughter of John and Gladys (Holdorf) Wilson. She graduated from Clinton High School. She married Warren Hansen he passed away in 2003.
Sally loved living life. She loved every holiday, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, decorating the whole house with decorations! Always a house full of relatives and anyone that didn’t have a place to go. She was an advocate for domestic abuse victims, doing late night pickups of women and children in need. She enjoyed ushering for plays and concerts from Austin to San Antonio. She had a passion for animals and had many over the years. She loved dressing in glitzy clothes and jewelry and being fiercely independent in all things.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gladys Wilson; husband, Warren Hansen; son, Brent Hansen; grandson, Anatoly Hansen.
She is survived by sons, John and wife Ruth Hansen, Aaron and wife Janie Hansen; grandchildren, Alyona Hansen, Alexey Hansen, Mercedes Outfleet, Melodi Outfleet, Bradley Hansen, Jessica Cruces; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be 10:00am, Monday, April 7, 2025 at Oakland Cemetery where she will be laid to rest between her husband and son. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
