Sadie Hosette's Obituary
Sadie M. Hosette, 86, of Clinton, died Monday, May 28, 2012 at Mercy Living Center – South. Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Miles Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Sadie Marie Jepsen was born on January 24, 1926 in rural Green Island, Iowa, the daughter of John and Elsie (Johnson) Jepson. She married John L. Hosette on August 14, 1949 in Clinton; he died May 23, 2011. Sadie was a homemaker. Sadie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton. Sadie is survived by two sons: Dennis (Sandy) Hosette of Clinton, Iowa and Steven (LuAnne) Hosette of Clinton, Iowa; two grandsons and two granddaughters; one brother Eldon (Sandy) Jepson of Sabula, Iowa; one sister Betty (Louis) Messerli of Clinton, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, and 6 sisters. Memorials can be made to Special Olympics or the Dialysis Unit at Mercy South.
