Ruth I. Ward, 81, of Clinton, passed away, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.

Ruth I. Stickles was born on October 16, 1931 in Vergennes, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Ella (Needham) Stickles. She married William Ward on October 3, 1953 in Albany, Illinois; he died February 21, 1985.
Ruth was a machine operator for GE in Morrison for 23 years.
Ruth is survived by her daughter: Billie (Tony) Evans of Clinton; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son: Michael; five sisters and three brothers.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
