Ruth Murphy's Obituary
Ruth L. Murphy, 71, of Clinton, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton. Visitation will be Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Following the visitation the body will be cremated. Ruth L. Graham was born on December 1, 1938 in Fulton, Illinois, the daughter of George and Mary (Hitchcock) Graham. She married Joseph F. Murphy on June 21, 1968 in Rockford, Illinois, he later died. Ruth attended Fulton schools. She was a nurse’s aide at Jane Lamb Hospital and also provided in home care. Ruth is survived by her daughter: Patricia (David) Musch of Clinton; two sons: Barry Kness of Paris, France, and Chuck Kness of Colorado; seven grandchildren; and siblings: Marian Bloom of Chicago, Irvin Graham of Wisconsin, Donna Sanders of Clinton, and Maryann Saathoff of Cordova, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three brothers.
