Ruby E. Schubert, 91, of Clinton, Iowa, died peacefully Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa. Honoring her wishes, there will be a private service at a later date. Ruby was born on Read Obituary
Ruby was in my Silver Sneaker "Easy does it class'' that's where I fell in love with her. She kept up with those exercises and never missed a beat. She always had a smile on her face and was a joy to be around . It was a pleasure to know her and I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Ruby was such a sweet, beautiful lady with a cute sense of humor! I loved our little visits and hugs when she would come into the store. She would always remind me what a "little stinker" I was in my younger years and I would tell her I still was....just a bit older. :) I know how much she will be missed by all of you and your families. Ruby was one of the most generous, kind women I ever knew. She spent so many afternoons with my mother when my mother no longer drove; these times meant so much to my mom, and was the highlight of her week. She was a great friend to Mother, probably her best friend. I have known Ruby and her family since I was a small child; memories of spending time at her home are probably some of the best for me. I know she is in heaven with Mother having a cup of coffee, she was loved dearly. I pray for comfort and peace for her family.

I will always treasure my friendship with Ruby. We did hospice together. We shared many laughs and serious things. Thank you so much for allowing me to be with Ruby for a short time. I will miss her, but will always have her in my heart. My sympathy to all. A great lady has gotten her wings.
