Ruby Allen's Obituary
Ruby L. Allen, 88, of Clinton, died Monday, August 12, 2013 at Mercy Living Center – South, Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Ruby L. Thompson was born on August 15, 1924 in Clinton County, Iowa the daughter of Albert and Anna (Sorensen) Thompson. She married Ralph Allen on October 25, 1942 in Clinton.
Ruby was the Deputy Clinton County Auditor for 30 years.
Ruby was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a longtime member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.
Ruby is survived by her husband; Ralph of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
