Ruben A. Weltzin, 61, of Clinton, IA, died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at his home in Clinton, IA. There will be no service or visitation. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory.
He was born on March 1, 1947, in Morrison, IL, the son of Elmer and Darlene (Frank) Weltzin. He had been employed as a machinist. Ruben was a United States Navy veteran serving during the Viet Nam War.
Survivors include his Mother, Darlene Weltzin of Morrison, IL; sisters, Carolyn Cramer of Fulton, IL; and Edna (Norm) Tangerose of Texas; brother Terry (Julie) Weltzin of Morrison, IL; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, 1 sister and 1 brother.
