Royanne M. Stephens' Obituary
Royanne M. Stephens, 76, of Camanche, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020, at her home – Camanche.
Memorial Services will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Royanne Martha Seymour was born on October 4, 1943, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Roy P. and Demerle L. (Anson) Seymour. She attended Camanche High School. She married Joseph Stephens on June 4, 1983, in Clinton, Iowa; he preceded her in death on March 16, 2019.
Royanne worked at Custom Pak for several years and more recently worked for Ralston Purina. Her passion was being a homemaker and taking care of her husband and children.
She enjoyed time spent traveling, camping and mushroom hunting but above all else, she enjoyed time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Royanne is survived by her six children: Lori Springer of Camanche, Lisa (Jay) Saxon of Camanche, Michelle (Matt Shelly) Clark of Clinton, Melinda (Chris) Landeros of Victorville, California, Brenda Lobue of Kingman, Arizona and Gregg Stephens of Fall Brook, California; fourteen grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four siblings: Karen (Ronnie) Jensen of Morrison, Illinois, Pat (Gene) May of Camanche, Diana Holton of Indiana and Roy Seymour of Camanche; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and two special neighbors, Kevin and Butch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two granddaughters: Marie Springer and Kaitlin Saxon, brother Robert Seymour, Sr., nephews Robert Seymour, Jr. and Tracy Jensen.
Memorial may be made to the Camanche Fire Department.
